2nd Floor Walls Complete

Miguel and the crew got a good head start on the walls upstairs yesterday, so they made pretty quick work of the rest of the job today.  Now we wait about a week for the trusses to arrive.

2nd Floor Floor Starts

1st Floor...done!

Miguel and friends showed up on Wednesday and peeled back the tarp to reveal the fresh layer of plywood underneath.

In two days of work (interrupted by rain... rain?), they managed to get the first floor walls done.  If the weather stays like this, we'll be able to put the roof trusses on at the end of next week.  Fingers still crossed.

Framing starts...soon!

With the Christmas break extended until the 9th (hey, carpenters have kids too!), we are 2nd on the job list.  The weather is not exactly cooperating - delay on one job due to rain delays our job.  However, over the next couple of days, we should start seeing this house go up!  Stay tuned.

Inspection Passed

Mohammad was in today to watch Tony and Rui perform the ball tests for the various plumbing stacks in the basement, as well as to review the overall layout.  Passed!  Now we can start prepping the basement for concrete.
